Ret Racks with two-paddle version has one paddle with plus lenses and the other for minus. Optics on both are 0.5, 1.0, 1.5. 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 8.0, and 12.
This two-paddle version has one paddle with plus lenses and the other for minus. Each can be identified in the dark with fingertips alone. High refractive errors can be identified with 8.0 and 12.0 lenses in each, while half-diopter lenses from 0.5 to 7.0 increase accuracy in lower refractive states. Lenses are 16 mm diameter, recessed to help prevent scratching and increase durability. Includes 180º axis compass printed directly along the top of each paddle to enhance the accuracy in astigmatism orientation.
Examining infants, children, and individuals who cannot be subjectively refracted or sit behind the phoropter requires patience, efficiency, and skill.
