There are many advantages to Thin Wall Cannulas:

  1. The inside diameter is approximately 2 gauge sizes larger, therefore a 25g T.W. lumen is approximately the same as the inside lumen on a 23g (see illustration).
  2. Viscous materials flow through the cannulas with less effort.
